Belleview Development Incentives for Properties on S. US Hwy. 441
The City of Belleview City Commissioners has approved generous financial incentives to encourage landowners to connect to the new water/sewer lines and annex into the City. The following incentives are available to both developed and vacant properties located on S. Hwy. 441 between 119th St. and 135th St. These incentives will expire in 2020.
Sewer connection and impact fees are waived for new connections. This is a savings of $9.07 per gallon/per day for new development in the City. Properties in the unincorporated County eligible for annexation will be required to annex into the City.
Reduced Water and Sewer Rates
The City offers lower water and sewer rates for customers within the City.
The City is waiving annexation fees as well as the subsequent rezoning/landuse applications for eligible properties connecting to the new utility system. This is a savings of $2350.00. City staff will work with landowners to coordinate annexation and site development processes to facilitate a smooth transition. Landowners may request a different zoning than their current zoning. Properties must be located adjacent to the City to be eligible for annexation.
Business Tax Savings
The City of Belleview has very affordable business tax rates. Business Taxes are waived for the balance of the fiscal year (Oct 1-Oct 1) for any business annexing into the City in the 441 Corridor Incentive Area.
